Default How Does God...

communicate with you?

I'm curious as I have experienced multiple venues over the past few years.

Meditation after prayer, images pop into my mind. The next day an answer to my question pops into my head while simultaneously seeing an object that appeared in prayer. A couple of days ago, it was an old green wood door in need of a scraping and paint. It was exactly the same faded greed door I saw in my vision. The door was propped up next to a tree by the road where I could not miss it as I drove past. The answer IMHO was being verified by God by use of the object.

Another time a voice pops into my head while in a semi-conscious state while relaxing after prayer. This consisted of a few words followed by such a feeling of peace that I did not want to snap back to the reality of here and now.

God knows how to reach each of us in a way we can receive it. One thing certain what He tells us individually will never contradict His written word.

For me sometimes it is a sense of peace about one choice or another sometimes just a knowing sometimes he will make a scripture particularly alive (tho I have in the past added in my own interpretation and really blown it) and sometimes He uses circumstances.

You are right I think God reaches each of us in the ways He knows will get through.
